CMPC® Mentorship Services

If you are a graduate student or early-career professional pursuing the Certified Mental Performance Consultant® (CMPC) credential, I offer individualized mentorship designed to support your development and meet the unique demands of your professional journey. This mentorship experience is tailored to your specific goals and needs, whether you are completing required mentorship hours or seeking to enhance your knowledge and skills in key areas of applied sport and performance psychology.

Areas of focus may include psychological assessment and case conceptualization, intervention strategies for performance enhancement, ethical decision-making, and navigating the practical challenges of consulting across diverse settings. Additionally, support is available for CMPC® exam preparation, as well as professional development within collegiate, professional, and private practice environments. This process is intended to foster your identity as a mental performance consultant while building confidence, competence, and clarity in your applied work.

Please note that mentees must have an existing client base in order to support applied experience throughout the mentorship. Mentees are also required to carry their own professional liability insurance. It is important to understand that mentorship hours completed through this experience do not count toward clinical licensure requirements for mental health professionals (e.g., LPC, LCSW).
